It is finally over! Took me a good chunk of time, but I finally managed to finish the project, get photos that work kind of good, and upload and update everything. I won't be touching pencil for the next several years... =\

Now, a few words about the whole project...

It started way back in October 2007, with the promising announcement that we (my class) are to create around 12 pieces of artwork, medium chosen by us, theme chosen by us, size chosen by us...So it sounded good. But soon after that came the news that we need to make research about all that, develop our skills, or in other words - "show growth". Needless to say, it wasn't very nice.
I knew from the very beginning that I will be drawing, and my theme will be related to knights in some way. Now, thinking back, I think I should have done paladins, not mere knights, but what was done was done. Rephrased a bunch of times, my theme ended up being "Me and the Middle Ages", and my introductory page spoke about lost values, about qualities of the character we don't see every day, about goodness, about valour, about honour, about dignity and pride, about preservation, and about how the fiction books were the ones to create my own reality.

Now, after more than half a year, after more than 300 hours spent with pencil, eraser or piece of cotton in hand, and after many sleepless nights, I have the whole project done. 12 pieces of art, which I daresay look far better than I expected. Still not real art that will make grand companies fight over it, but definitely better than I've ever hoped they will be. I am not an artist. Not this type.
